There are a few instances where you may need a water softener, sometimes referred to as a brine tank, added to your treatment system. If you have an acid neutralizer currently installed and you are suffering from soap scum or scaling you may need to have a softener added. When installing new acid neutralizer systems we generally install a softener to give you the most ideal water conditions.
This softener works by removing the hardness that is added by the raised pH, as well as any hardness initially found in the water testing.
Our softeners use solar salt (sodium chloride) that is very soluble in water and made by evaporating sea water. It is specifically designed for water treatment systems and don’t worry, your water won’t taste salty!
